With Fingerpick, the Blue keys are your "notes", the Yellow keys change patterns, and the Green keys trigger a pattern when you play a chord on them.
Thus, it is perfectly normal that you don't hear anything when you play the yellow or green keys.
Next time you're using Fingerpick, try playing a chord in the Green keys. (Make sure the chord has 3 notes!) This should trigger whichever pattern is selected.
That little yellow outline tells me which pattern is selected ("Ally"). Hitting any of the Yellow keys will change the selected pattern. If you hit the "G" in the yellow keys, it will select the pattern listed on the "G" in the image above - "Tr Hybrid".
I'd recommend watching the Fingerpick videos on our youtube channel to see how to get the most out of it, and understand the basics. There is also a PDF Manual available (linked below)
