How do I upgrade from the Pre-release version?

If you purchased the Pre-release version of Nightfall, you're entitled to a free upgrade to the latest version.

So, how do you get it?

1. Log into your Realitone account. If you don't have one yet, create one using the same email address you used to purchase Nightfall Pre-release. (Our system will automatically link your order to your new account)

2. Purchase Nightfall using the coupon code "FreeNightfallUpgrade" during checkout. This will reduce the price to $0

3. You will receive an order confirmation email with a link to your downloads page.

For the pre-release version of Nightfall, you were given links to download 3 RAR files that contained the samples. This time, however, you will only be given a link to download a PDF file. This is because now your files will be downloaded using the Native Access app. The PDF is simply a page of instructions that tell you how to do that.

4. At the top of your downloads page, you'll see your Native Access serial number (aka License Code). This is what you'll need to register inside the Native Access app, so copy that number!

There is also an "Unlock Code". You'll need that for the first time you use Nightfall, so we'll come back to that later.

5. Register Nightfall with Native Access. Find the "Add Serial" button, paste in your Nightfall license code from your downloads page, and register the library.

6. Once registered successfully, Nightfall will show up in the "Available" tab of Native Access v2 or the "Not Installed" tab of Native Access v1. So, find Nightfall in that tab and click install.

It might prompt you to install the latest version of Kontakt Player (we have no control over this), so go ahead and do that.

7. Once installed, open Kontakt. You should now see Nightfall listed with your other Kontakt libraries. So, open up Nightfall.

8. The first time you use Nightfall, you will need to enter your Unlock Code using the number sliders on the interface. Once entered, click the "Submit" button. Not sure where to find your Unlock Code? Go back to step 3 ;)

9. You're done! Have a poke around the interface and make some cool sounds!
